Grief to Grace came to Saint Hilary in 2009 as a Diocesan program through which we seek to help those dealing with loss of any kind to find healing. Grief to Grace seeks to help those grieving to find deeper roots in Christ Jesus and in the community which can help them to find peace and growth in times of distress and loss.
Grieving the loss of a loved one does not necessarily start when they have passed, nor does it necessarily end soon after they are gone. Grieving also is not exclusive to the loss of a loved one; it can be caused by many different types of loss. Grief can also take many forms throughout the process of loss, whatever type of loss it may be. We can find ourselves sad, but also angry, confused, anxious, or even calm. Grief to Grace Ministry seeks to give you tools to help you navigate your way through your loss.
Members meet the first Monday of every month after the 5:15 Mass, and together pray a decade of the Rosary, a Divine Mercy Chaplet, and other prayers. Additionally, our Ministry Leaders have resources for further reading for those who need or want them.
